About the Event
The Obong Belton Foundation is once again teaming up with So Others Might Eat (SOME) to provide meals for the DC's homeless population.
Due to the impact of COVID-19, SOME is accepting donations of individually wrapped sandwiches.
Join the Obong Belton Foundation's "One Loaf Challenge" by making peanut butter and jelly, ham or turkey (adding cheese optional) sandwiches.
If you are not able to make the sandwiches you can also donate a loaf of bread as well as lunch meat, cheese, and peanut butter and jelly.
Other items you can also choose to donate are:
Meals in a can (chili, ravioli, etc)
Ginger Ale and bottled water
Apple sauce cups and yogurts
Granola bars
Cereal and fruit cups
Canned proteins
All donations made through our website starting on April 22nd, 2020 will be applied towards purchasing items for this SOME food drive.
